Futuristic Fashion : 3 D Printing

3D Printing has enthusiast: Lady Gaga,  given the pop star’s penchant for pushing the boundaries of fashion, it was only natural that she should be drawn to 3D printing, a technology that is reimagining the possibilities of fashion.
Would you like to be able to print your own jewellery? How about shoes or dresses?
Companies such as Hot Pop Factory are printing jewelry. Retailers such as New Balance are printing shoes. These pioneering innovations are exciting, but what’s a 3D printed necklace without a shirt or dress to match? 3D Printing and Fashion just recently met a couple of years ago, but their friendship is off to a promising start.
The idea of custom design has mass appeal and marketability. Who doesn’t want to wear a one-of-a-kind, perfectly tailored piece? Perhaps the teenage girl of the future won’t have to suffer the social agony of showing up to a school dance wearing the same dress as her archenemy.

Trend Alert: Army Green

As winter is almost here,  we all know black is gonna be a staple, but adding some green to this mix will give some edge. It was a trend echoed by many designers like Phillip Lim, Michael Kors, Prabul Gurung, Calvin Klein, Rachel Zoe, Reed Krakoff and Vivienne Tam .

As always, the easiest way to work a new trend is via accessories. An army green shoe, bag or scarf will nudge you into the fall fashion scene in style.

The army green jacket is a versatile piece. Pair it with a denim or colored pants with a casual tee. Team it with a dress to give a edgier look!

LADY GAGA fall trend!
